Studie, formou ekfraze, pojednává o základních principech umělecké praxe Františka Kowolowského. Všímá si, jakým způsobem autor kříží autochtonní s alochtonním, lokální s globálním, všední se svátečním či autentické s inscenovaným. Zaměřuje se také na jeho práci s lokální identitou, popřípadě s místy která jsou nevyhnutelně deteritorializová, poznamená přesunem, vykořeněním či migrací.

The study, in the form of an ekphrasis, discusses the basic principles of František Kowolowski's artistic practice, which crosses the indigenous with the allochthonous, the local with the global, the mundane with the festive, or the authentic with the staged. It also focuses on his work with local identity, including places inevitably deterritorialized, marked by displacement, uprooting or migration.
