Pana profesora Stoffa znałem przez wiele lat. W miarę upływu czasu, przeglądając różne fotografie z wydarzeń, na których spotkałem się z profesorem, uświadomiłem sobie, jak cenny człowiek odszedł i jaki wkład miał w naukę i edukację. Gdy wspominam, gdzie po raz pierwszy spotkałem pana profesora, było to skomplikowane - gdzie i przy jakiej okazji to było. Jego sercem była konferencja DIDMATTECH, przy której stał u jej początków. Zawsze dbał, aby konferencja miała wysoki poziom i odbywała się. Ta aktywność zawsze mu się udawała, dlatego doszedłem do wniosku, że pierwsze spotkanie z panem profesorem odbyło się na jednej z edycji konferencji DIDMATTECH. Aby zachować jej wysoki poziom, profesor dbał o to, aby konferencja miała charakter międzynarodowy i odbywała się w różnych krajach. Konferencje odbywały się nie tylko w Czechach, w Olomoucu i innych miejscach, ale także na Słowacji, w Trnawie i innych miastach, w Polsce, w Radomiu lub Rzeszowie, a także na Węgrzech, w Budapeszcie lub Gyorze. Jedno ze spotkań, które mi szczególnie utkwiło w pamięci, miało miejsce na Uniwersytecie J. Selyeho w Komárnie. Z okazji konferencji, profesor spotkał się ze znanymi osobami i świętował swoje życiowe jubileusze. Miałem zaszczyt uczestniczyć w tych uroczystościach w Komárnie.

I knew Professor Stoff for many years. As time passed and I went through various photographs of events where I had met him, I realized what a rare individual had passed away and what his contribution to science and education had been. Thinking back to where I first met Professor Stoff, it's difficult to recall the exact time and circumstances. His heartfelt endeavor was the DIDMATTECH conference, where he stood at its inception. He always made sure the conference took place and maintained a high standard. He consistently succeeded in organizing this event, leading me to conclude that our initial encounter must have taken place at one of the DIDMATTECH conferences. To maintain its high level, Professor Stoff ensured that the conference was international and held in various countries. Apart from the Czech Republic, the conference took place in Olomouc and other locations, as well as in Slovakia in Trnava and other cities, Poland in Radom or Rzeszow, and also in Hungary in Budapest or Gyor. One such memorable meeting was at J. Selye University in Komarno. On the occasion of the conference, Professor Stoff had meetings with prominent individuals and celebrated his life's jubilee. I had the honor of attending the celebration in Komarno.
