W artykule zostaje poruszony problem określonych układów negatywnych zwanych przez Karla Jaspersa sytuacjami granicznymi. Wskazane są czynniki wywołujące owe negatywne układy, a następnie wskazane są przykłady ich występowania w języku czeskim. Sytuacje graniczne opisane przez K. Jaspersa wymuszają określone postawy jednostek wobec barier, które należy albo przekroczyć, albo się przy nich zatrzymać, co jest spowodowane m.in. ogranicznością natury człowieka. Jednak nie są one linią graniczną, której nie można przekroczyć. W większości przypadków są one tzw. położeniem jednostki, wyzwalającym jej chęć działania, pokonywania ich.

The article discusses the problem of specific negative system called border situations by Karl Jaspers. The factors causing these negative systems are iniciated, followed by examples of their occurrence in the Czech language. Border situations described by K. Jaspers force specific attitudes of individuals twards barriers that must either becrossed or stayed at them, which is caused by, among others, the limitations of human nature. However, they are not a boundary line that cannot be crossed. In most cases, they are the so-called the individual´s situation, triggering his desire to act and overcome them.
