V kapitole prezentujeme výběrovou slovotvornou analýzu sociolektů prizmatem kvantitativních metod. Z tří slovníků specifických výrazů excerpujeme deriváty a výrazy, které vznikly smíšeným způsobem kompozičně-derivačním a abreviačně-derivačním. V sémantické analýze zjišťujeme, že ve sledovaném materiálu neexistuje jednotný trend. Dále pracujeme jen s názvy osob. Při derivační analýze potvrzujeme závislost derivace na typu sociolektu a zjišťujeme, že osobní přípony lze modelovat zipfovskou mocninnou funkcí – distribuce se tak vyznačuje několika velmi frekventovanými sufixy a řadou sufixových hapaxů.

In this chapter, we present a selective word formation analysis of sociolects through the lens of quantitative methodology. Derivates and expressions originating from mixed compositional-derivative and abbreviate-derivative processes were extracted from three do-main-specific dictionaries. Semantic analysis reveals there is no uni¬fied trend evident in the sample. We further work on people’s names only. The derivation analysis confirms the dependency of the deriva¬tion on the type of sociolect, and it is found out that personal suffixes can be modelled by Zipf’s power function – the distribution thus contains several high-frequency suffixes and a number of suffix hapaxes.
