etošní vydání festivalu performance a videoartu organizovaného Nadací Prague Biennale s podtitulem Re-connect Art se zaměří na téma sebeprezentace ve virtuálním prostoru. Žijeme v éře digitálních komunikací, jejichž vliv byl ještě posílen prožitým obdobím izolace. Přesunem většiny pracovních i úředních jednání do online prostoru došlo k jeho institucionalizaci. Identita homo digital se v této nové vrstvě setkává s rafinovanými nástroji manipulace. Ať už se jedná o sociální média, fenomén influencerů, vytváření falešných virtuálních identit či sebe vylepšování pomocí filtrů, všechny tyto tematické okruhy spojuje eskapismus, únik do rozšířené reality. František Kowolowski se ve své performanci pro festival Re-connect Art zabývá otázkami kvality digitálního prostoru v kontextu úvah filosofa Michela Foucaulta o jiných prostorech - heterotopiích. V intencích strukturalistické tradice, chápající svět jako soubor vztahů, jsou tyto zvláštní prostory / ne-místa ustavována skrze texty, jazyk a symboly. Specificky odrážejí běžný svět, zrcadlí jeho problémy, zviditelňují krize, slouží jako místa úniku před realitou či vlastní tělesností. V dialogu fyzického těla s místem a časem, okolní přírodou i architekturou, s textem i vodou, a s pomocí předmětů osobních i nalezených demonstruje František Kowolowski vztahy pojmů (podvědomé formy, archetypy, imaginární identita, realita zcizení, realita vnímání, politika a umění, kritika obrazu, jazyka, textů, symbolů) v rámci čtyřdimenzionálního modelu lidské existence: prostor - moc - vědění - únik. Únik z prostoru a času vytvořením autonomní zóny, vymezení prostoru a modelu těla, únik z osobního času, únik z moci virtuální identity, nahlížení na vlastní tělesnost a pokus o nemožné: únik z tělesnosti.

he 2022 edition of the performance and video art festival organized by the Prague Biennale Foundation subtitled Re-connect Art will focus on the topic of self-presentation in virtual space. We live in an era of digital communications, whose influence has been even strengthened by recent isolation and restrictions. By moving most of the working and official meetings to the online space, it has furthermore institutionalized. The identity of homo digital meets sophisticated manipulation tools in this new layer. Whether it's social media, the phenomenon of influencers, the creation of false virtual identities or self-improvement through filters, all these thematic areas have a common denominator which is escapism, an escape into the augmented reality. In his performance for the Re-connect Art festival, František Kowolowski deals with questions of the quality of digital space in the context of philosopher Michel Foucault's reflections on other spaces - heterotopias. Within the structuralist tradition, which understands the world as a set of relations, these special spaces/non-spaces are constituted through texts, language and symbols. They specifically reflect the ordinary world, mirror its problems, make crises visible, and serve as places of escape from reality or one's own corporeality. In the dialogue of the physical body with place and time, surrounding nature and architecture, with text and water, and with the help of personal and found objects, František Kowolowski demonstrates the relations of concepts (unconscious forms, archetypes, imaginary identity, the reality of alienation, the reality of perception...) within the four-dimensional model of human existence: space - power - knowledge - escape... Escape from space and time by creating an autonomous zone, defining space and the model of the body, escape from personal time, escape from the power of virtual identity, looking at one's own corporeality and attempting the impossible: escape from corporeality.
