Autorka konstatuje a odůvodňuje, proč by se cíl výuky mateřštiny na českých školách měl opírat o preambuli z osnov, kde se uvádí: "Orientovat se v jazyce se žáci učí tak, že v hodinách českého jazyka a literatury nebudou ostré hranice mezi učivem mluvnice, slohového výcviku a literární výchovy, ale že si žáci v každé hodině českého jazyka a literatury uvědomí propojenost jazyka, stylistických prvků i literárních prvků."

The authoress states and gives reasons for her statement why the main goal of the teaching of the mother tongue at Czech schools should rest in the key passage of the syllabus which reads as follows: " The orientation within the language is presented to the pupils in such a way that there are no clear-cut boarders between grammar and speaking/writing skills, and grammar and literature, but in each mother-tongue lesson the pupils will be lead to the awareness of the unity and mutual interrelation of the system of language, the specific features of its everyday usage, and their relations to fiction."
