The main aim of this article was to give a brief introduction to the issue of declension of adjectives in three chosen Slavic languages Russian, Polish and Slovak. The aim was to compare the given declension systems and to discuss their respective typical features. At first, the goal and timeliness of the issue were explained, the basic terminology related to the selected issue was determined, and then the specific systems of declension in each language were introduced. Slavic languages are the cultural heritage of all Slavic peoples. As a result, articles of this type have their place in contemporary linguistics. Their purpose is to improve the mutual understanding and communication between various Slavic languages
