Tento článek se zabývá stranickou reprezentací polské menšiny v České republice – Soužití na komunální a zejména parlamentní úrovni. Autor se zabývá stručnou historií parlamentní reprezentace polské národnostní menšiny v období 1. ČSR v letech 1918 až 1939. Situace polské menšiny v Československu v období komunistického režimu po roce 1948. Následně vznik a vývoj polské politické reprezentace a spolkového života po roce 1989, spolupráce a volební výsledky Soužití ve společné volební koalici s maďarskou částí hnutí a jeho samostatná existence po vzniku České republiky. Stručně také analyzuje výsledky Soužití ve volbách do zastupitelstev obcí a zastupitelstva Moravskoslezského kraje. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována vztahům soužití s ​​dalšími polskými organizacemi (Kongres Poláků v ČR a Polský svaz kultury a vzdělávání). Hlavním cílem je rekapitulovat a analyzovat výsledky kandidátů polské národnostní menšiny ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny a Senátu Parlamentu České republiky.

This article deals with the party representation of the Polish minority in the Czech Republic – The Coexistence (Soužití) at both the municipal and especially the parliamentary level. The author deals with a brief history of the parliamentary representation of the Polish national minority in the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic from 1918 to 1939. The situation of the Polish minority in Czechoslovakia during the communist regime after 1948. Subsequently, the establishment and development of Polish political representation and federal life after 1989, cooperation and election results of Coexistence in a joint electoral coalition with the Hungarian part of the movement and its independent existence after the establishment of the Czech Republic. It also briefly analyses the results of Coexistence in elections to municipal councils and the council of the Moravian-Silesian Region. Special attention is paid to the relations of coexistence with other Polish organizations (the Congress of Poles in the Czech Republic and the Polish Union of Culture and Education). The main goal is to recapitulate and analyse the results of candidates of the Polish national minority in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
