Text se zabývá druhy expresivních jazykových prostředků, jejich terminologickým vymezením a pojetím v české lingvistice. Zaměřuje se na použití expresivních prostředků v každodenní a elektronické komunikaci současné školní mládeže. Autorka se také zabývá přístupem k těmto jazykovým prvkům ve třech různých řadách učebnic českého jazyka pro 2. stupeň ZŠ, především z hlediska zachycení různých typů expresivních prostředků, jež jsou v nich zachyceny. Upozorňuje na potřebu zvýšit zaměření na expresivní prostředky ve školní výuce a navrhnout možnosti pro rozšíření znalostí žáků v této oblasti.

The text deals with the types of expressive language means, their terminological definition and conception in the Czech linguistics. It focuses on the use of expressive means in everyday and electronic communication of the contemporary school youth. The author also deals with the approach to these language elements in three different types of textbook series of the Czech language for the 2nd grade of elementary school, mainly in terms of expressive aspects in their diversity. She draws attention to the need to increase the focus on expressive means in school teaching and suggests possibilities for expanding the pupils’ knowledge in this area.
