Příspěvek se věnuje současnému stavu péče o fond uměleckých realizací v architektuře a veřejném prostoru města Ostravy, jež vznikaly od roku 1945 do počátku 90. let 20. století. Informuje o vzniku databáze Ostravské sochy, která si dala za cíl dokumentovat a propagovat tento typ umění a nese již své výsledky ve zvýšeném zájmu města o stav těchto objektů.

The paper deals with the current state of care for the collection of artistic implementations in the architecture and public space of the city of Ostrava, which originated from 1945 to the early 1990s. It informs about the development of the database "Ostravské sochy", which aims to document and promote this type of art and already bears its fruit in the increasing interest of the city council in the condition of these objects.
