Katedra architektury Rozšířená výuka kresby Koncept Śląski je finální částí výstavního cyklu Situation Silesia 2019 prezentovaného v Galerii 36,6 v Instytutu Sztuki Uniwersytetu Śląskiego v Cieszynie, jehož předchozí části se konaly letos v létě v ostravských galeriích Důl Michal, Jáma 10, GAFU a Kalerie s čupr uměním Saigon. Kurátorský koncept výstavy Situation Silesia 2019 pracuje s premisou, že geografický prostor Horního Slezska na polské straně a Slezska na straně české je kulturně homogenním celkem, jehož historie byla zásadním způsobem ovlivňována expanzí těžkého průmyslu, těžby uhlí a s těmito fenomény související dynamikou sociokulturních transferů, jež však byly v rámci jednotlivých republik vnímány podobně temně: jako život „kdesi na konci světa“. The Silesian concept is the final part of the exhibition series Situation Silesia 2019 presented at the Gallery 36.6 in the Institut of Fine Art, Silesian University in Cieszyn. The previous parts of which took place this summer in the galleries of Ostrava Mine Michal, Pit 10, GAFU and Kalerie with Saigon Art. The curatorial concept of the exhibition Situation Silesia 2019 works with the premise that the geographical space of Upper Silesia on the Polish side and Silesia on the Czech side is a culturally homogeneous whole, whose history was influenced by the expansion of heavy industry, coal mining and related phenomena related to socio-cultural transfers. they were perceived in a similarly dark manner within the individual republics: as being "somewhere at the end of the world".
