Motivace za naturalizací propozic vychází z přesvědčení, že tradiční představy o propozicích jsou příliš mysteriózní a nutí nás uznat existenci zvláštních entit. Text ukazuje, co vedlo zakladatele analytické filosofie přiznat propozicím aspekty, které jsou v rámci naturalistického přístupu kritizovány. Průkopníkem naturalizovaných propozic je Kingova práce z roku 2007 The nature and structure of content. Klíčová myšlenka tohoto směru v teorii propozic je, že propozice nemohou samy o sobě a nezávisle na mysliteli cokoli reprezentovat. Motivation behind naturalization of propositions, comes from a belief that the traditional picture of propositions is too mysterious and commits us to existence of strange entities. The text shows what lead the founders of analytic philosophy to acknowledge aspects of propositions that are criticized within naturalistic approach. Naturalistic propositions were pioneered in King's work from 2007 The nature and structure of content. The key idea of this movement is that propositions cannot represent anything of themselves and independently of a thinker. It is necessary to explain representational properties, and with it, the truth conditions of propositions by means of representational capacities of thinkers. The study presents two contemporary theories that follow this idea, highlights their differences, and shows the way they solve traditional problems.
