Annotation in english language:	This study provides an insight into the oeuvre of French and Polish decadent poets.In the beginning we will briefly introduce the phenomenon of decadence that was brought intothe world of literature by French decadent poets. In the subsequent analysis we shall focuson the characteristic themes in works of these authors and their influence on the Polish poetsof the second half of the twentieth century.
