Klíčová slova anglicky:
neologisms; new word-formations; occasionalisms; potential words; classification; Russian language
Popis v původním jazyce:
Vocabulary of any language is changing constantly. New words called neologisms are entering the word stock of a language. Neologisms represent new words or new meanings of already existing words in a language, the novelty of which is experienced by the speakers of one or another language. This paper deals with the classification of particularly these new words, a model classification by R. A. Budagov is introduced (1965) defining four types of neologisms among which the phenomenon of constant interpenetration exists: word neologisms, neologisms in meaning, style neologisms, and stylistic neologisms. This classification is compared with more contemporary classifications of neologisms suggested by L. L. Kasatkin (2010) or A. V. Stramnoi (2007). Their classifications include the latest type of new-formations - so-called potential and occasional words related to authorial neologisms.
