Příspěvek představuje politickou anekdotu jako specifický prostředek vyjádření odporu proti útlaku v totalitních režimech 20. století. Upozorňuje na nedostatek pozornosti věnované zhodnocení tohoto žánru jako historického pramene v českém prostředí, na potřebnost identifikování místa politické anekdoty v mentalitě Čechů a v českém národním životě vůbec, ale i na nutnost komparativního přístupu. Na příkladu protektorátních anekdot a anekdot z období normalizace poukazuje na jejich shody a rozdíly.

The paper presents a political anecdote as a specific means of expression of resistance against oppression in totalitarian regimes of the 20th century. Highlights the lack of attention appreciation of the genre as a historical source in the Czech environment, the need to identify the sites of political anecdotes in the mentality of the Czechs and the Czech national life in general, but also the necessity of a comparative approach. The example of the Protectorate of anecdotes and anecdotes from the period of normalization highlights their similarities and differences.
