Studie se zabývá hudebním narativem a hudební narativiou z hermeneutického pohledu. Vztah hudby a literatury je viděn skrze sdílenou temporální dimenzi umělecké imaginace. Důraz je položen na metodologické problémy jako vztah mezi obecnou (literární) naratologií a hudebním typem. Vybraná téma jsou analyzována, komparována a kriticky reflektována. Bližší pozornost je věnována dvěma významným teoriím hudební narativity u Eera Tarastiho a Byrona Alména. Mýtus je chápán jako původní forma narativu s hudebními aspekty. Hudební narativita je prezentována nejenom jako kvalita hudby, ale také jako možná analytická metoda a interpretační přístup k hudebnímu dílu.

The study deals with musical narrative and musical narrativity from the hermeneutic point of view. The relationship of music and literature is seen through a shared temporal dimension of artistic imagination. The stress is put on the methodological problems like a relation between general (literary) narratology and musical one. Selected narrative themes are analyzed, compared and critically reflected. Closer attention is given to two important theories of musical narrativity by Eero Tarasti and Byron Almén. Myth is understood as an original form of narrative with musical aspects. Musical narrativity is presented not just a quality of music, but also as a possible analytical method and interpretative approach to the musical work.
