Modeling of adaptive process, adaptive education, education process, education process simulation, virtual student, adaptive study support

In accordance with the several years of research focus of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies at the Pedagogical Faculty, University of Ostrava, one of the main research fields has been the area of individualized e-learning instruction. Teams of experts in cooperation with VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava formulated the basic theory of adaptive e-learning instruction and have been implementing it into the real education process. This article deals with the issues of modeling and simulation of the new education form before its real implementation.
