Kapitola předkládá přehled o přístupech k evaluaci eLearningu z našich i zahrančních zdrojů. Vzhledem k záměru projektu , předložit model pro systematickou evaluaci eLearningu a stanovit faktory, které mohou ovlivňovat jeho kvalitu, efektivitu a ekonomiku, jsme se rozhodli pro systémový přístup. Při studiu dostupných zdrojů o eLearningu jsme se zaměřili mj. na takové studijní materiály, které by nám pomohly zvolit vhodné subsystémy či prvky v systému evaluace eLearningu. Jako ukázky jsme vybrali Kirkpatrickův čtyřúrovňový model, rámcový model pro evaluaci eLearningu autorů Hughese a Attwella, švédský model pro hodnocení kvality eLearningu a práce Badula Khana, ve kterých autor systematicky objasňuje souvislosti důležité pro vytváření smysluplného eLearningového prostředí.

This chapter provides a summary on approaches to evaluation of eLearning. The goals of this project are to develop a systems approach to evaluation of eLearning and to determine factors that may influence the quality, effectiveness and economy of eLearning. When studying available resources on eLearning, we focused on those that would help us to choose suitable subsystems or elements in the eLearning evaluation system. As examples, we chose Kirkpatrick?s four-level model, a framework model for evaluating eLearning by authors Hughes and Attwell, a Swedish model for assessing eLearning quality and the work of Badul Khan, in which the author systematically clarifies the matters important for creating a sensible eLearning environment.
