Annotation in original language:
The study focuses on the analysis of stress intensity of the most utilised basketball players in a championship game of the highest basketball competition, grade U-16. The relationship between stress of a player in a match and stress in training belongs to key issues of training in the majority of sports games, therefore also in basketball. The training process in basketball must be based on typical stress requirements of a player in a championship basketball game on a given performance level. The average calculated heart rate of the second utilised player during the game was 174,7 ? 3,3 pulses per minute, which corresponded to 91,9 ? 1,7 % of the maximum heart rate determined during a stress test in laboratory conditions. The acquired stress results of players in a championship game could provide a basis for a subsequent design of a training plan and for a selection of appropriate methodical and organisational forms in training of the same age and performance category.
