Studie je věnována spisovatelce a mluvčí Charty 77, která je v České republice spíše vnímána jako disidenta, nikolv jako spisovatelka. Její anglicky napsané romány jsou v českém prostředí téměř neznámé.

The study deals with Zdena Tomin, who used to be a spokesman of Charta 77 and at the present day is much more known as a dissident than as an artist in the Czech Republic. Her English written novel published in the UK during her exile are practically unknown to Czech readers.
