Jedenáctá kapitola, imigranti a jejich sociální potřeby, se zabývá specifickými problémy, s kterými se setkávají uprchlíci ve spojení s jejich adaptací na nové socio-kulturní prostředí. Autorka popisuje nezbytné požadavky pro to, aby se tato skupina adaptovala na nové sociální prostředí, upozorňuje na legislativní a administrativní systém v České republice ve vztahu k problematice uprchlíků. Kapitola charakterizuje žadatele o azyl a organizace pracující s uprchlíky, uporňuje také na určité faktory, které jsou v práci s touto skupinou užitečné.

The eleventh chapter, Immigrants and their social needs, deals with the largely specific problems encountered by refugees in connection with their adaptation to a new socio-cultural environment. The author describes the necessary requirements in order for this group to adapt to their new social environment, highlighting the legidlative and administrative framework on the Czech Republic with relation to the issue of refugees. The chapter characterises asylum seekers and organisations dealing with refugees, highlighting certain factors which prove useful in working with this group.
