Learning objects, DILLEO, e-learning

This article introduces the project called "University Cooperation of Multimedia Aid Development" which is provided by three Universities - University of Ostrava, Silesian University in Opava and University of Hradec Králové. The main goal of the project is to reduce costs and increase the multimedia education object quality and utilization. This goal could be reached by 4 subgoals described in this article. The first goal is the distributed digital library DILLEO development. This library provides the systematic collecting and accessibility of the multimedia education objects. Technical solution as well as logistics, library service and object utilization rules are included in the article. The second goal is the e-learning education information portal creation.
