Many principles are used while measuring pressure. This report deals with measuring pressure with the help of deformation element in the shape of circular diaphragm, which is closely fixed all round circumference. On such deformation part are placed indicators of pressure (strain gauges). These indicators then directly influence mechanical features of the deformation element. Therefore circular diaphragm was designed analytically and subsequently modelled in Ansys program for verification of analytical calculations.
