This report is about the use of the Control Web 2000 system for measuring temperature as part of instruction in the laboratories of Báňské University in Ostrava in the Faculty for Measurement and Control Technology. Control Web 2000 is a programming system for the automation of industry. It can work with many measuring cards and PLC. Among other things, it contains an excellent visualization tool for effective visualization and monitoring. The Control Web 2000 system is moreover equipped with its own http server for monitoring and the direct control of any procedures necessary from the internet. The applications is created with measuring cards made by Tedia and Axiom for measuring non-electric quantities by using various sensors for temperature, pressure, movement and flow. The measured data is evaluated, displayed, even archived. Great emphasis is placed on visualization.
