Students interested in the study of recording direction come most often from conservatories, music high schools, or other art music colleges. Most of them have been educated from childhood in the Czech education system. Even in the Czech Republic, there are the number of excellent music ensembles dedicated to historically informed interpretation. Therefore, it is necessary to think about what kind of education or specialization a recording director should receive to be able to devote himself to this area. This paper examines the issue of tuning from the perspective of the composer, performer, and recording director and attempts to capture historical and cultural influences. Obor Hudební režie přicházejí studovat zájemci nejčastěji z konzervatoří, hudebních gymnázií, nebo z jiných uměleckých hudebních vysokých škol. Většinou jsou od dětství vychováváni v českém systému školství. I v Čechách existuje řada vynikajících hudebních souborů věnujících se historicky poučené interpretaci. Proto je nutné se zamyslet, jaké vzdělání či zaměření má získat hudební režisér, aby se mohl věnovat i této oblasti. Příspěvek se věnuje problematice ladění z pohledu skladatele, interpreta a hudebního režiséra a snaží se postihnout historicko-kulturní vlivy.
