Text Sedimenty sametu je věnován jednomu z kurátorských projektů, které proběhly v galerii GAFU v průběhu roku 2019. Stejnojmenná mezinárodní (CZ, SK, PL) kolektivní výstava se konala u příležitosti třicátého výročí sametové revoluce a bylo na ní zastoupeno třicet autorů a autorek, včetně jednoho autorského dua a jedné umělecké skupiny. Inspirací zde byla stratigrafie půdních vrstev při archeologických průzkumech, které prostřednictvím nálezů zprostředkovávají informaci o historii dané lokality. Zde ony „nálezy“ představovalo třicet uměleckých realizací odkazujících k třiceti porevolučním letem.

The text Sediments of Velvet is dedicated to one of the curatorial projects that took place at the GAFU Gallery in 2019. The eponymous international (CZ, SK, PL) collective exhibition was held on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Velvet Revolution and involved thirty artists, including an artist duo and a group of artists. It was inspired by the stratigraphy of soil layers in archaeological excavations, which provide information about the history of a particular place through findings. Here, the 'finds' were represented by thirty artistic realisations relating to the thirty years after the revolution.
