Kapitola se zabývá vývojem toponymie na území městské části Ostrava-Poruba od 18. století do současnosti. Důraz je kladem na odraz proměny venkovské krajiny v městské sídliště budované od 40. let 20. století, včetně role honorifikační urbanonymie (uliční názvy), vztahu standardizovaných a nestandardizovaných názvů a reprezentace toponymie v jazykové krajině.

The chapter focuses on the development of place names in the Ostrava-Poruba city district from the 18th century to the present. The key focus is on the transformation of the rural landscape into an urban housing estate built from the 1940s onwards, including the role of commemorative urbanonymy (street names), the relationship between standardized and non-standardized names, and the representation of place names in the linguistic landscape.
