Nowadays, great emphasis is placed on the development of algorithmic and computational thinking, starting from the beginning of a child’s schooling. However, teachers who are supposed to educate our future generation in this direction often do not know what tools to use. Therefore, this paper focuses on various algorithmic tools that can be used in teaching algorithmizing and programming. The main aim of this paper is to introduce, compare and recommend suitable adepts to support the teaching of algorithmic thinking, computational thinking, and programming to primary school pupils.
