The page analyses the discipline of Educational Technology, its place in today´s e-learning movement and particularly its position in the contemporary educational system. The needs analysis in e-learning shows the tasks of participants, particularly authors and tutors, in the process. A transformation of the discipline into a study programme is drawn. This is illustrated by some instances from various spots of educational industry. Some elements of educational technology implemented in studies at the Pedagogical Faculty at the University of Ostrava are demonstrated.

A transformation of the discipline into a study programme is drawn. This is illustrated by some instances from various spots of educational industry. Some elements of educational technology implemented in studies at Faculty of Education in Ostrava are demonstrated.
