Diese Fallstudie zeigt anhand von zwei Beispielen aus dem Bereich der Fußballsprache, wie die ausgewählten Fußballfachausdrücke in neuen Kontexten in übertragener Bedeutung verwendet werden. Auf der Grundlage journalistischer Texte im DeReKo-Korpus wird das Verhältnis zwischen deren Gebrauch in fachlichen und in fußballfremden Kontexten untersucht und gezeigt, welche Aspekte der Realität mit Fußballfachwörtern beschrieben werden.

The sports vocabulary in non-sports contexts. Using the example of expressions from the language of football This case study uses two examples from the field of football language to demonstrate how specific football terms are used in new contexts in a figurative sense. Based on the journalistic texts in the DeReKo corpus, the paper explores the ratio between the use of two selected expressions in football contexts and in non-football contexts, investigates which aspects of reality are described via football terminology
