Key words in English:
chlorina f2; chlorophyll b-less barley mutant; Hordeum vulgare; photosynthesis; pigment content; chlorophyll fluorescence; light acclimation
Annotation in original language:
The mutant plants that are deficient in LHC proteins represent an useful material to investigate the functional properties of LHCs. One of the best characterised mutants is the Chl b-less mutant of barley, designated as chlorina f2f2 (Clo f2). We analysed the ability of acclimation of the photosynthetic apparatus to high light level with focus on the xanthophylls regulation and photosynthetic rate.
