Educational groups or individual mentors for gifted individuals have been under-represented for a long time, and perhaps this will never change. However, the question of how these children feel at schools must be asked. Where do they satisfy their social needs in addition to their educational needs? This chapter offers some evidence and links between the social and educational issues faced by gifted students in class groups. These links may not be apparent or even be surprising to many readers.
