Kapitola popisuje způsoby využití poradenského rozhovoru při práci s uživateli drog. Pojem psychosociální odkazuje k nutnosti popojení sociální složky v rozhovoru, která by měla vést k praktickému řešení sociální situace daného jedince se složkou motivační, kdy je třeba rozvíjet klientovu motivaci a působit podpůrně ve vzájemné spolupráci. Autoři v kapitole dále rozvíjejí možnosti využití komunikačních technik jako jsou motivační rozhovory, přístup zaměřený na řešení a dále pak i možnosti práce s podpůrnou síti daného člověka.

The chapter describes ways to use counselling interviews when working with drug users. The term psychosocial refers to the need to involve the social component in the conversation, which should lead to a practical solution of the social situation of the individual with the motivational component when it is necessary to develop the client's motivation and act supportively in mutual cooperation. In the chapter, the authors further develop the possibilities of using communication techniques such as motivational interviews, a solution-oriented approach and also the possibilities of working with a person's support network.
