Infekční komplikace jsou u pacientů po transplantaci krvetvorby spojeny se signifi kantní morbiditou a mortalitou [1; 2; 3; 4]. Zvýšená vnímavost k infekcím a často těžký průběh těchto infekcí je dán významným, komplexním a dlouhodobým oslabením imunitních funkcí po transplantaci krvetvorných buněk (hematopoetic stem cell transplantation, HSCT), přičemž tato dysfunkční imunita bývá významnější u pacientů po alogenní transplantaci krvetvorby ve srovnání s transplantací autologní.
